Nigerian arrested in India with 200g heroin

The Police in Ludhiana, Punjab’s Khanna district, India have arrested a Nigerian drug peddler and recovered 200 gram of heroin from him.

The accused, simply identified as Ezeke of Imo state, was arrested at a checkpoint on the national highway in Doraha on Thursday, July 25, Superintendent of police, Jasvir Singh confirmed. .

He was arrested from the bus stand side when the police stopped him for checking. The police seized 200g of heroin wrapped in a polythene bag from his possession

According to police officials, the estimated cost of the consignment in the international market is around Rs 1 crore.

SSP, Khanna, Gursharandeep Singh said that the accused was booked under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Doraha police station.
