For more than a year now,the whole of South East has faced many curfews mostly on Mondays,at first we thought it’s going to stop but ever since then, it’s still going on
The reason which is as a result of the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB)..For Long now,Kanu has appeared to Court without trial but has faced adjournment each time he comes to court for trials
The people of South East having resolved to protest through sit at homes on trial days and every Monday have maintained that till today, though there was a time it was cancelled but the fear of unknown Gun Men resulted to the people Sitting At Home despite the cancelation
Many have lost their lives as a result of not obeying the orders, especially motorists that probably came out to make ends meet to feed their families
Here in Enugu, the case is not a different thing as we do observe the Sit At Home order every Monday and on Every Court Trial Day,and as a result,it has affected us greatly in the negative way as many are working from hand to mouth and missing a day or two simply means finding it hard to eat the very day
We have been indoor from Monday and we don’t even know when the Sit At Home will end for this week
I therefore ask that the Federal High Court should help the entire South East by administering Justice on the case of the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and economy on the south East will gradually get back to what it’s used to be
