Four-year-old Abuja school boy buried in Abuja

Miguel Ovoke, a four-year-old student at BrickHall School in Abuja, was laid to rest in the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja today, Friday, May 10, 2024, following his death during feeding hours.

It was stated that Miguel choked on a piece of beef during school lunch and was sent to the Excel Specialist Hospital.

According to the medical report from the hospital, there was no success in trying to revive the youngster.

The Parents Teacher's Forum and the school administration had sent the family their sincere sympathies, calling the occurrence a "heart-wrenching event."

They regretted that Miguel's life could not be saved, but they appreciated the school's professional nurse's quick response and the decision to send him to the hospital.
