A 17-year-old boy named Philip Emmanuel has admitted to planning to assassinate his boss, Mrs. Adene Iyabode Deborah, with the help of his accomplice, Precious.
It was said that the victim, a caterer, was found dead inside her apartment after going missing for a few days. She had been stabbed multiple times and had her head severed.
Claiming to have worked with the victim for five months before the occurrence, the suspect was paraded at the Ondo Police headquarters. He emphasised that Precious, who had only been a driver for two months, was the one who had lured him into doing the crime.
Precious, the adolescent suspect, told him that they should kill their mistress and take the money when she heard that N150,000 had been deposited into her account.
"I killed my madam, which is why I am here. I had wprked with her for five months prior to last month. It was me who prepared her meals. A driver that she recently hired has only been employed for two weeks. The driver approached me and stated, "N150,000 has just entered my madam account." He advised me to assassinate my mother and get the money. I declared that I had never killed anyone before.
"Madam told me on Saturday that I should come help her wash clothes because she was really exhausted. The driver astonished the woman when he arrived, but he explained that he wanted to assist her.
"I was given a drink by the driver that day. He pulled out a cutlass and began to threaten me that he would also kill me.
He shoved me inside as we entered the house. I advised using a cutlass to strike the woman. I succeeded. However, I started crying.
The driver went to check the account after we killed the woman and discovered that there was just N60,000. He handed me N30,000. I ran to Idanre.
