UK-based Nigerian doctor loses licences over sex for free Botox injections

According to the Telegraph, Tijion Esho, a Nigerian physician working in the United Kingdom, lost his medical licences when it was determined that he had given free Botox injections in exchange for sex.

On well-known television shows including ITV's This Morning, BBC's Morning Live, and E4's Body Fixers, Esho is well-known for his medical advice and commentary on topics related to cosmetic surgery.

In addition, he was frequently consulted for Body Fixers, a programme 4-run programme that ran for two seasons in 2016 and 2017. He also appeared on BBC Morning Live until the summer of 2022.

The Esho Clinic, founded by Esho, has locations in Dubai, London, and Liverpool and serves a number of famous people.
He acknowledged having an unhealthy emotional interaction with Patient A, the lady with whom he exchanged "inappropriate" sexual messages on Instagram, at his Monday appearance before a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service.

He claimed that Patient A, who offered sex services via webcams and OnlyFans, was someone he had never had any actual contact with.

Nevertheless, an MPTS panel convening in Manchester decided earlier this month that Dr. Esho did engage in sexual activity with Patient A at his Newcastle upon Tyne clinic in 2021 and provided complimentary Botox treatments.

The tribunal also found that the physician had made similar comments to Patient A the previous year and had even permitted her to masturbate him.

As a result, the tribunal determined that Dr Esho's misbehaviour had compromised his suitability to practise, and on Saturday, the panel declared that Esho's name ought to be struck from the medical registry.

Next Monday, the panel will make public the rationale behind the sentence.

The Telegraph claims that one of the "inappropriate" Instagram messages that Patient A received between July 2019 and February 2022 was a September 2019 conversation in which he remarked, "What are you doing to me? lol." Glory of the Morning. I'm itching for the genuine thing, bloody. It sounds like the dream of every man.

He wrote: "Why you making me bulge lol" in a November 2019 post. Send additional, don’t be sorry lol.”
The next month he commented, "I'd need the whole booty and more if I had free millilitres of botox," and "Lol loving the tongue."

He said to her, "My God, having you for a night or every night is a dream, but if we do it for me, I break the doctors' code and I'd be a dead man x lol," after a few weeks had passed.

The tribunal found that the doctor, Oluwafemi Esho, had motivations other than sexual ones when it came to her behaviour, but it did not conclude that Patient A was at risk due to her occupation.

By relaxing the muscles that lead to wrinkles, Botox injections, according to a medical website, Cleveland, enhance look. Medical ailments such as hyperhidrosis, headaches, overactive bladder, and vision issues are also treated by them.

Repetitive treatments are necessary to maintain results every three to six months.
