Police Arrest 34yr-Old Suspected Rapist In Sapele

The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 34-year-old man identified as Ayuba Adavo, who was alleged to have raped a 25-year-old lady in the Sapele area of the state.

In a press statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe on Tuesday, stated that Mr Ayuba Adavo was arrested on Monday 8th November 2021, along Sapele-Warri road on the strength of a case reported by a 25-year-old lady (name withheld).

The statement explained that the lady reported that on the said date at about 8 pm while she was walking along Amagiya road, Sapele, Adavo blocked and dragged her to his room.
