12 schools for Lagos Milo b’ball final
Twelve schools will compete for the title in the 24th Milo basketball championship final, which is scheduled to take place in Lagos on Saturday.
The 12 schools were revealed during the draws on Wednesday at the Nestle Office in Ilupeju, Lagos. The schools were split into four groups for the male and female competitions.
Father O'Connell Science College, Bishop Dimieri Grammar School, Bayelsa, and Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria Secondary School in Cross River are among the schools that advanced from the preliminary rounds in both the Northern and Southern conferences to the championship round. These schools are in Group A for the male division.
Ijaiye Housing Estate Senior Grammar School in Lagos, Rumfa College in Kano, and Government Day Secondary School in Gombe are the other teams in the male group, Group B2.
In the female division, Government Secondary School, Abuja; Onireke High School, Oyo; and Zarumai Model School make up Group B1. Group A1 includes Topfield College, Lagos; Dom Domigos College, Delta; and Queen Amina College, Kaduna.
Wassim El-Husseini, Managing Director of Nestlé Nigeria Plc, expressed satisfaction in giving children a stage on which to display their abilities.
