BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu seeks transfer to Kuje prison from DSS custody
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the jailed Indigenous People of Biafra, has asked the Federal High Court to transfer him to Kuje prison.
He said there was a plot for him to die while under the Department of State Services' care and that the agency lacked a hospital to treat him.
He declared, "People will come see me, but they won't be allowed." There is no medical facility there. My heart is failing congestionally. They are repairing my wounds.
"My foot is enlarged. When I asked them to perform surgery, they replied that they were unable to. To die while being held in custody is a conspiracy. Transferring me to Kuje is what I desire.
