Flying Eagles, Falconets Record Victories In All African Games

Both of Nigeria's football teams competing at the All African Games, the Falconets and the Flying Eagles, prevailed in their respective games late on Monday.

Thanks to goals from Loveth Edeh, Motunrayo Ezekiel, Chioma Olise, and an own goal, the Falconets thrashed Senegal 4-0 to advance to the Games semifinal.

Following their 2-0 victory over Morocco in their opening game, Coach Christopher Danjuma's women advanced to the next round of the Games as winners of Group B.

The male counterparts of the Falconets overcame an unexpected 2-1 loss to Tanzania in their opening game by defeating Sudan with a solitary goal, while the Falconets won convincingly.
