Atiku wrote, "Tinubu is playing fiddle while Nigeria is drowning in the ocean of insecurity."
"To picture the Chief Executive attending a supposedly private visit while kidnappers murder two monarchs in Ekiti, a nursing mother and grandmother in Abuja, and other frequent tragedies affecting Nigerians, for not paying a N90 million ransom."
With the goal of addressing Nigeria's security issues—which include criminal militias in the North-West, jihadists in the North-East, and an upsurge in intercommunal violence in the central states—President Tinubu took office last year.
Critics counter that one of the problems plaguing the nation is the out-of-control kidnapping situation. According to the president, education will be used to address the underlying causes of the violence.
