Additionally, it was stated that Bobrisky tampered with another N50,000 during a social gathering while dancing at Aja Junction, Ikorodu between July and August of 2023.

According to the EFCC, Bobrisky failed to provide the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering with a declaration of the activities of the aforementioned company, Bob Express, during the period from September 1, 2021 to April 4, 2024 in Lagos, during which time a total of N127. 7 million was paid into the company account that was based at Ecobank.

According to the EFCC, the acts were punished under Section 19 (2) (b) of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act and violated Sections 6 (1)(a) and 19(1) (f) of the Act.

Bobrisky, who had been in the EFCC detention since Wednesday, night, failed to meet the administrative bail offered him on Thursday.
Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesperson, confirmed the news about his bail and his refusal to comply with the restrictions during a phone chat on Thursday night with our correspondent.

"He has been granted administrative bail but has not yet met bail conditions," stated Oyewale.

Oyewale has already stated, "Bobrisky is with us." He is under our Lagos command after being taken into custody in Lagos last night. Among other things, we detained him for allegedly abusing naira notes, spraying nara notes, and mutilating cash.

"We sincerely intend to restore the naira's dignity. Even while our investigation is still underway, charges against him will undoubtedly be brought against him soon.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, said in a statement later on social media that it had "commenced investigation of Idris Okuneye, a.k.a Bobrisky, for purportedly spraying Naira notes." The statement was titled "EFCC Grills Bobrisky for Naira Abuse."

The 31-year-old was invited by the EFCC after a video emerged of her showering and flaunting wads of fresh Naira notes during the Ajakaju movie premiere on March 24, 2024, at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos. The film is produced by Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao.

The investigation also turned up evidence that he had committed the alleged crime at various other parties and event venues at different periods.

He accepted the commission's invitation and showed up for questioning on Wednesday, April 4, 2024, early in the morning at the EFCC's Lagos Zonal Command, offering to testify.

"He will face charges in court after the investigations are finished."

The EFCC's impeccable sources claimed that the transvestite was being held in a single cell.

After being questioned by interrogators, Bobrisky provided a statement in which he claimed to be "Idris Okuneye." He's being held in isolation in a cell. He is the sole one in his cell and doesn't have any cellmates, according to a source. He is also not in a male or female cell.
