Naira abuse: EFCC, Cubana Chief Priest to settle out of court
According to The Nation Newspaper, an agreement has been struck between the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and celebrity barman Pascal Okechukwu, also referred to as Cubana Chief Priest, to settle the naira abuse accusation outside of court.
The settlement reached outside of court was revealed when the cases were reopened on Thursday.
Judge Kehinde Ogundare heard the case of Cubana Chief Priest, who was charged with three counts of misusing national currency during a social event.
The Central Bank Act of 2007 is broken by these acts.
