NDLEA intercepts cocaine shipment at Lagos hotel

On Wednesday, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency agents raided a hotel and apprehended individuals who were getting ready to consume 200 wraps of cocaine.
Based on intelligence, the operation went after those trying to smuggle drugs into Saudi Arabia in preparation for the ongoing Hajj pilgrimage.
Femi Babafemi, the agency's director of advocacy and media, posted the details and a video of the seized contraband on his X account on Thursday.

He shared a video and wrote, "Caught in the Act: Wednesday night, #ndlea_nigeria officers stormed their hotel rooms in an intelligence-led operation as they were getting ready to swallow 200 wraps of cocaine ahead of their flight to the ongoing hajj in Saudi Arabia. Details to follow.
