Super Falcons star, Echegini wins talented youngster in Serie A

Jennifer Echegini, a star for the Nigeria Super Falcons, has taken home the eBay MVP trophy for the best Under-23 player in the women's Serie A.

The Juventus player received the award given to the league's most exceptional young player.

After spending a brief time with two US clubs, Echegini began her youth career at Arsenal. She arrived in Turin in January and made an immediate impression.

This was made public on Monday in a statement titled "eBay MVP, Echegini Is The Best Under 23 In Serie A."

This award recognises the rising stars of the league for their talent, commitment, and influence, as well as for what they have contributed to their teams and the competition overall.

"Jennifer Onyi Echegini has a decisive impact on the reality of Juventus women," the statement stated.

The midfielder, who was born in 2001, arrived in Turin in January after travelling straight from the United States. In just 16 games, he scored 10 goals and provided one assist.
