Wigwe: US Releases Photos Of Crash Site
The photographs showing the site of the helicopter crash that killed Herbert Wigwe, the chief executive officer of Access Holdings, have been made public by the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
In an Airbus EC130 helicopter crash near the California-Nevada border near Halloran Springs, Wigwe, his wife Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Abimbola Ogunbanjo perished.
NTSB officials are seen examining the wreckage at the accident site in the photos, which were made public after NTSB board member Michael Graham claimed to have visited the scene and described the activities carried out on the first full day of investigation there.
Graham emphasised the organization's dedication to a thorough investigation of the scene, stating that the crew mapped the wreckage using aerial drones.
According to him, a number of electronic gadgets and onboard machinery were found at the scene and will be subjected to additional testing and investigation.
Friday, February 9 marked the deaths of the two crew members and four passengers aboard the tragic helicopter.
