Banned: Nigerian pastor orders bride to remove eyelashes at wedding

One Nigerian bride recalled the story of how, at her religious wedding, her pastor urged her to take off her eyelashes.

The bride, Jessica Okah, shared the story on TikTok, stating that the minister had brought up her eyelashes before to the wedding.
She did, however, claim to have fully forgotten about it and to have assumed that it would be forgotten at the wedding.

My pastor advised me the day before that I wasn't allowed to wear lashes to the wedding ceremony, and I only realised this after I was approved by my husband's family.

"To be honest, I forgot, but I didn't have a problem with it either,""I have to go remove the lashes before the service can continue," he remarked.
She posted a video of herself taking off her eyelashes, during which her minister interrupted the wedding ceremony and then continued it.
