Bayern Munich names Vincent Kompany new head coach
On Wednesday, Bayern Munich announced Vincent Kompany as their new coach for a period of three years.
The 38-year-old Belgian, who oversaw Burnley's Premier League relegation this season, is joining Bayern.
Kompany stated on Wednesday, "I'm looking forward to the challenge at FC Bayern."
"As a coach, you have to be true to yourself: I enjoy being creative and in control of the ball, and we also need to be bold and aggressive on the pitch."
"Now, I'm excited about the most fundamental things: forming a team and collaborating with the players. Success will follow when the foundation is in place, he continued.
