Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, is overjoyed that he chose to join Lazio from Hatayspor, a team in the Turkish Super Lig, at the start of the season. He also says that so far, it has been a great choice that he is loving.

In their 5-1 thumping of Monza on Sunday, Bashiru came off the bench to score his third Serie A goal. The Nigerian praised his coach, Marco Baroni, for helping him progress recently.

In addition to thanking his teammates for their support during his brief time with Lazio, the midfielder dedicated his goal to them.

I found it enjoyable. I've grown both tactically and physically thanks to the coach and the team," he said on the club's official website.

"I've had an excellent week, and although I'm pleased with my performance, the team's win is even more significant."

"This group is fantastic, and the setting is perfect. The coach has faith in all of us.

During the current season, Dele-Bashiru has scored five goals in 21 games across all competitions for Lazio, including two goals in six Europa League games.
