Ex-Barcelona star Bartra, model girlfriend end relationship

Journalist Abel Planelles in Spain claims that Marc Bartra, a former defender for both Barcelona and Spain, and his model girlfriend Jessica Goicoechea have called it quits on their romance.

The couple, who had been dating since 2001, came to light earlier this year when Goicoechea disclosed their strange "sex deal" on a talk show in Spain, according to Mirror UK.

Going into depth about their private arrangement, Goicoechea made an appearance on "La Resistencia" in May.

She said, "If we don't do it one day, you have to do it twice the day after," as Bartra watched from the audience. It was apparently devised as a way to keep them in touch when they were apart.
Planelles stated that the couple's romance had "broken" despite their best efforts to maintain it. But he also said that they remain on good terms.
"From what people around me tell me, there are no bad vibes or bad relationships," he said. Actually, quite the opposite—there is a positive association.
The pair has had turbulent past experiences, including breakups and reconciliations. Shortly after Bartra's divorce from writer Melissa Jimenez, with whom he had three children, they made their relationship public in November 2022.
Goicoechea, a 1.8 million-follower model and influencer who started her career at the age of 15, has now established her own fashion line and cosmetics company.

The 33-year-old Bartra, who is now a Real Betis player, is well-known for his time spent playing for Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, where he had a harrowing event when a bomb struck the team bus.
Planelles stated that although their romance is over for the time being, a reunion isn't out of the question.

They get along well and follow each other, but it's true that their romance is over. The relationship between the football player and the influencer would be shattered right now, but you never know whether there would be a second or third chance, the woman stated.
