President Federation Cup finals hold June 29

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced that the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja will host the grand finale of this year's President Federation Cup men's and women's competitions on Saturday, June 29.

While the men's event is in the final four, the women's version is presently in the quarterfinals.

The date has been decided upon by the NFF and GTI, according to NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi, in order to meet the CAF deadline for submitting the nation's representatives for the upcoming season's continental club competitions.

"After carefully examining our offerings, the current status of the men's and women's competitions, and the requirement that all of our representative clubs submit their names to CAF for African Club Competitions next season, we have reached a consensus for the grand finale of the men and women finals of the President Federation Cup to take place on Saturday, June 29,” Sanusi said in a statement shared by the NFF.
The match between Delta Queens and Sunshine Queens will also take place at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, while another exciting matchup between FC Robo Queens of Lagos and Naija Ratels of Abuja will take place in Asaba.

The game between Osun Babes and Rivers Angels will take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, the same location where Enugu Rangers won the NPFL season on Sunday.

Inspired Abia Warriors will go all out for glory on Thursday at the Lafia City Stadium as they play one of this year's President Federation Cup semifinals against traditional powerhouse team and past winners Kano Pillars.

El-Kanemi Warriors, who advanced to the NPFL after the NNL Super 8 Tournament, are also very motivated to compete in the other semi-final. Along with Beyond Limits, Ikorodu City, and Nasarawa United, the team has also been promoted.

Their rivals are Kebbi United, who have defeated higher-ranked ABS FC of Ilorin, NPFL team Akwa United, and EFCC FC of Abuja to get here. Kebbi United is known for not fearing an opponent. Thursday night at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project looks to be an interesting one.
