Protesters take over Kaduna and demand that Tinubu resigns.

A sizable gathering of demonstrators, backed by numerous organisations from around the Kaduna city, has called for President Bola Tinubu to resign.

The demonstrators, as seen, first gathered in the Kaduna city at the Stadium Roundabout.
The massive demonstration, which started at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, proceeded along Junction Road towards Ahmadu Bello Road while carrying placards that said, "Tinubu ze soka' kaa'sa," which is loosely translated as "Tinubu must step down."

Our eyewitness saw the demonstrators passing around banners, flags with the green, white, and green colours of Nigeria, and placards with slogans like "#End Hunger in Nigeria." They assembled near the Stadium Roundabout in preparation for their march.
Insisting that President Tinubu stand down, the demonstrators yelled, bounced, and chanted, "Tinubu yaa’so’ka, mu’na so," as they hailed every military vehicle they came across, ” meaning “Tinubu step down, we want soldiers.”
Six or seven police vehicles with anti-riot police officers inside were spotted driving around the city with sirens screaming as they tried to control the gathering number of demonstrators. More security personnel were stationed at key locations along Ahmadu Bello Road leading to the Central Market.
Around 10:45 a.m., as the protest gained momentum, more demonstrators joined from Kaduna's Constitution Road, Saudana Crescent, Katuru Road, Offa Road, and Abuja Road, expanding the throng that was making their way to the Central Market.

A few demonstrators had a banner flying that looked like the Russian flag.

The demonstrators yelled "Bama so," which translates to "We don't want hunger," in Hausa.

A particularly desperate group member was observed shredding and burning the Nigerian flag.

The demonstrators were determined to get to the Government House, despite the police detachments stationed around the city trying to dissuade them and ask them to leave the roadways. The security personnel were angered by this action, and as the protestors' numbers kept growing, they quickly requested reinforcements.
