Toyin Abraham opens up as reactions trail her recent call for help
After making a distress call recently, well-known Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has now spoken.
The actress had earlier pleaded for divine intervention on social media, a request that elicited diverse responses from followers and acquaintances.
Concerns for her well-being were voiced by many users, who also criticised her for being a staunch supporter of President Bola Tinubu's regime and suggested that she might be feeling the effects of the recent increase in gas prices.
Abraham responded to the worries raised by her distress call by saying it was a call for strength rather than distress in an Instagram video that has now gone viral.
Thanking everyone who contacted her, the actress clarified that the previous post was the result of being overtaken by a massive crowd at her home, which required preparing a substantial amount of food.
"Hello everyone, I'm fine. The large number of people here just overwhelmed me. It's a huge throng. For them, we must prepare meals. This video has an excessive amount of people in it. I'm afraid because of this. I'm good, family.
"I'm very okay, family," she captioned the video. I really need God's strength because I'm simply so overwhelmed. I appreciate your calls and messages, everyone. IYA YIN wa ok. I love you all and thank you one again.
