United not giving up on Osimhen deal
The Italian analyst on African football affairs of choice, Malu Mpasinkatu, claims that Manchester United of the English Premier League is negotiating to purchase Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. Manchester United, of the English Premier League, is allegedly close to signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as the transfer fight to gain his services heats up. Osimhen is considered to be Italy's foremost expert on African football concerns.
With 13 goals this season in all competitions, Rasmus Hojlund leads the Devils in scoring, but the Dane hasn't scored since February 13. The Premier League's biggest clubs are hoping to add a premier striker in the upcoming transfer window.
Top talismans like Osimhen, Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna, and Ivan Toney of Brentford have been associated with Erik ten Hag's team.
Ten Hag placed the Nigerian striker and Harry Kane at the top of his transfer wish list when United attempted to buy him last summer.
Nevertheless, neither action was successful. Osimhen decided to stay at Napoli after helping them to the Scudetto for the first time in thirty years, while Kane completed his transfer to Bayern Munich.
United is prepared to hijack the proposal in light of recent rumours that the Napoli striker is nearing a move to Paris Saint-Germain after receiving an offer for a four-year deal that may bring in close to €13 million.
Mpasinkatu declared on Radio Goal that United is prepared to engage in a bidding battle for the 25-year-old striker.
"This summer, United will compete with Chelsea for Osimhen, and both teams are "on him," implying that they are negotiating a contract to entice him to join one of their teams.
"According to the information I have, Marcus Thuram is being discussed at PSG rather than Kylian Mbappe right now.
"The Premier League is the Nigerian Osimhen's goal; he has already played in France." Chelsea and Manchester United are both focused on him. [Jonathan] David? Although he is young, he has played in Europe for a number of years, thus he might be the ideal candidate to replace Osimhen.
While he differs from Osimhen in certain ways, he is nonetheless quite powerful. Although Lille is a wealthy team, it is doubtful that the players they trade in will perform poorly.
Osimhen still boasts respectable goals despite his lack of production compared to his 26 goals as the Serie A top scorer last season, especially in light of Napoli's hardships.
In 27 games in all competitions, he has 15 goals and 4 assists.
