‘Osimhen’s attitude, character scaring suitors’

Because of Victor Osimhen's attitude and mentality, former Nigerian striker Peter Ijeh believes that suitors are avoiding him like the plague. Osimhen plays striker for Napoli.

Ijeh, who played much of his career in Scandinavia, stated on Facebook on Tuesday that he believed the Nigerian striker was unaware of how tiny a society in Europe is and that character and attitude are important.

"How I wish he realised that, while they are known for their double standards, Europe is a small community that values attitude and character since children have a direct impact on it. Even if Lagos is larger than six countries, it is essentially a community in which everyone is acquainted with one another, Ijeh remarked, seemingly in response to Osimhen's verbal assault on former Super Eagles coach Finidi George.

Osimhen made it obvious at the close of the previous season that he intended to depart Diego Maradona Stadium, and he has already played his final game for Napoli. Although Napoli is eager to let go of the star, a significant obstacle to his departure has been his £100 million release clause.

The amount was recently reduced by the club to £85 million, with Manchester United reportedly leaping onto the fray, but the Red Devils have also backed down like Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal and are currently in negotiations with Alvaro Moratta.
Napoli was willing to accept Mason Greenwood in exchange for money and made an offer to Manchester United.

Osimhen has reportedly been informed by new Napoli coach Antonio Conte that he would not be his primary striker for the upcoming campaign.
