AFREXIMBANK sponsors African freestyle football contest in Cairo
The African Export-Import Bank has been announced as the main sponsor of the upcoming Freestyle Connect Africa 2023 freestyle football tournament in Cairo on November 14.
The event is organised by Feet ‘N’ Tricks, promoters of the sport in Africa, and will feature 16 top athletes from across the continent. It is being held alongside the Intra-Africa Trade Fair.

“Freestyle Connect Africa is a platform that brings sports talent and creativity together in competition and celebration, and our partnership with AFREXIMBANK and WFFA testifies to the growth and love for the sport across the continent. We’re excited to showcase African talent on such a prestigious platform.”
The World Freestyle Football Association’s Daniel Wood said, “Freestyle football is not just a sport; it’s an art, a culture, and a language that unites us all. The Freestyle Connect Africa 2023 in Cairo promises to be a spectacular display of talent.”

The tournament will also feature Guinness World Record-holding freestyles, Iya Traore and Raquel Benetti, as fans are eagerly awaiting the showcase of skills at IATF2023.
