Breaking: Tinubu signs bill into law restoring the former national anthem

The National Anthem Bill 2024 was signed into law by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.

The bill aims to bring back "Nigeria, We Hail Thee," the national anthem.

A final vote in favour of the bill's passage will replace the now-familiar "Arise O Compatriots."
Both the Senate and the House of Representatives swiftly passed the bill.
