Five famous Nigerian Celebrities who are twins

1. Eniola Ajao
Actress Eniola Ajao comes from Epe and has appeared in more than 75 films. She is renowned for the energy and adaptability with which she plays her roles on set. Of the six children born to her parents, Ajao and her twin sister are the youngest. The twins have a birthday celebration on January 21. In 2004, Ajao landed her first movie part in the movie Ìgbà Aìm滍̀. She has acted in a number of other films, such as Daramola, Erin Orin, and Eniola. In 2018, she acted in the movie The Vendor. Yeye Alara, which debuted in December 2018, starred Ajao in the major role.

2. Kehinde Bankole
Born on March 27, 1985, Kehinde Bankole is a television host, model, and actress from Nigeria. Her first role in showbiz was in Miss Commonwealth Nigeria 2003, then proceeded with MBGN 2004. She was named Revelation of the Year at the 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards, two years after her first screen feature in Wale Adenuga’s Super Story. Her twin sister Taiwo Bankole acts occasionally as well.
3. The Lazarus Mary
Born in Nigeria on May 5, Mary Lazarus is a producer and actress. She won the 2018 City People Entertainment Awards' Most Promising Actress of the Year (English) category, and she was also a nominee for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Best of Nollywood Awards. She was also the recipient of the Most Peaceful Actress of the Year honour. She was one of the last born children of a family of nine, which also included her twin brother Joseph. The other six siblings were her parents, sister, and twin.


4. Aneke Chidinma and Chidiebere

Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke (born 6 August 1986) are identical twins in the Nollywood industry popularly known as the Aneke twins. They were born in the southeastern part of Nigeria, Enugu State and they are the last issue to the Aneke family. They are actresses and movie producers. The Aneke twins joined the Nollywood industry in 1999 and acted in the movie ‘Ebuka’ which was their first movie. The movie ‘Ebuka’ gave them an edge in Nollywood. In 2004,the Aneke twins rose to fame with the movie ‘Desperate Twins’ which earned them the nomination for The Most Promising Acts to Watch at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award. They have acted in over 80 movies. They have produced many Nollywood movies such as; ‘Heart of Isiaku’, ‘Onochie’, ‘Broken Ambition’’, and ‘Adaora’.

5. Rudeboy (Paul Okoye)
Paul Okoye, a Nigerian singer and producer better known by his stage name Rudeboy, was born on November 18, 1981.He became well-known in the 2000s when he and his identical twin brother Peter Okoye formed the P-Square duo. In 2017, Rudeboy released "Fire Fire" and "Nkenji Keke," his first solo songs. In Africa, "Reason With Me," one of his songs, had the most views on YouTube in 2019.In 2019, he launched the record label Fire Department Inc. as its founder.In 2021, he published Rudykillus, his first studio album.
