JAMB commences 2026 direct entry registration
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has officially begun the sale of application documents for the 2026 Direct Entry programme.
In a statement shared on its official X account, JAMB announced that the registration "commenced today, Monday, 2nd March 2026 and will conclude on Saturday, 25th April 2026."
The board highlighted that the entire procedure, including the acquisition of e-PINs and the sale of application documents, is exclusively limited to its accredited state and zonal offices nationwide.
Direct Entry permits candidates with appropriate qualifications, such as National Diploma, National Certificate in Education, Interim Joint Matriculation Board, A-level certificates, or other recognized equivalents, to apply directly for admission into the 200 level of university programmes, thereby bypassing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
This commencement follows the completion of the 2026 UTME registration process, which concluded on February 28.
