Mother of slain student in coma, activist calls for justice

According to an activist from Itsekiri in the Warri Kingdom, Delta State, known as the "Lord Of Warri," Princess Antonia, the mother of a student named Ajayi Crowther who was allegedly beaten to death by his colleague, is presently in a hospital bed in a coma due to extreme pain and grief over the death of her only child.

This was revealed by the activist on Thursday in a post on X.com.

In order to guarantee that justice is carried out and those liable for Alex's death are held accountable, the activist also made appeals to the governor of Oyo State, the Oyo State police, and the Oyo State administration.
He wrote: "Your prayers are greatly needed for Princess Antonia Emiko, who is the mother of the late Prince Alex Timileyin. She is in a coma in the hospital, suffering from excruciating.
"A mother's love for her kid is unbreakable, and the devastating death of her only son has left her devastated.

"To guarantee that justice is done and those accountable for her son's tragic death are held accountable, I also make an appeal to the Yoruba State Government, the Yoruba Police Department, and His Excellency Seyiamakinde."

Let's unite in our thoughts and prayers to support Princess Antonia during this difficult time, asking for strength and consolation. May she and her family experience God's grace and mercy.

This news follows the arraignment of 25 Ajayi Crowther University students in court for their roles in Alex's death.

A gang of other students beat Timileyi to death at the Shepherd Inn guesthouse on school grounds because they thought he had stolen a cell phone.
