Supreme Court Has Released Judgement CTC, Says Nnamdi Kanu’s Lawyer

The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Aloy Ejimakor, said that the Supreme Court has made available the Certified True Copy (CTC) of its decision regarding Nnamdi Kanu.

Ejimakor stated that the court additionally agreed to send the case file to the Federal High Court by Tuesday in a post on X (previously Twitter) on Monday.

Kanu's family protested last week that the Supreme Court was taking too long to make the CTC's decision regarding Kanu's case public.

The IPOB leader was exonerated of the terrorism charges brought against him by the federal government on December 15, 2023, when the Supreme Court overturned the decision of the Appeal Court.

The apex court ruled that instead, Kanu should be tried at the appropriate court.
Kanu's family claimed that the Supreme Court's refusal to release the CTC put their remaining legal options in jeopardy.

Ejimakor, however, stated on Monday that the Supreme Court had released the CTC's ruling in the case of Federal Republic of Nigeria versus Nnamdi Kanu.

Additionally, the Court pledged to send the case file to the Federal High Court by tomorrow, which is Tuesday. We will battle it out at the Federal High Court as soon as possible to #FreeMNK.
