BREAKING: Heavy security in Lagos Assembly over leadership tussle

Security personnel are heavily present both inside and outside the Lagos House of Assembly.

The leadership dispute between Mojisola Meranda and Hon. Mudasiru Obasa is not unrelated to the current situation.
Meranda, who was elected by 36 lawmakers during Obasa's absence, has claimed the speakership, arguing that his alleged removal was unconstitutional.

Some lawmakers have arrived, including Meranda for the plenary slated for 1pm.
