Dangote refinery registers three oil marketers associations

Oil marketers who have registered as its distributors have been verified by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

The Nigerian oil industry has three associations of marketers that Dangote Group announced on Tuesday it had registered.

Members of the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, and Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria are among the marketers mentioned by the Dangote Group in a statement on its X on Tuesday.

"Three notable associations have been registered, accounting for 75% of the Nigerian market as a whole.
The post mentioned three organizations: the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria.
The refinery's partner, Dangote Group, stated that it was still "considering other marketers that have signified interest."

As previously reported, on January 12, 2023, the Dangote Petroleum Refinery started producing aviation fuel and diesel.

Additionally, it was reported that MOMAN and IPMAN had registered as national marketers of the goods from the private refinery.

On the other hand, neither the products' release date nor the start of Premium Motor Spirit production have been announced by the Dangote Group.
