FG raises exchange rate for cargo clearance to N951/$

The exchange rate for cargo clearance has increased from N783/$ to N952/$, as announced by the Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Just three weeks have passed since the rate increase from N757/$ to N783/$.

The exchange rate for cargo clearance was increased from N757 per dollar to N783 per dollar, or 3.4 percent, according to a November PUNCH report.
On Thursday, though, our correspondent noticed that the Nigeria Customs Service portal now shows the updated rate.
